Winter Garden Farmers Market Family Maternity Photoshoot in Florida

Apr 10, 2023

As I arrived at the Winter Garden farmers market, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming maternity and family photo session with Lindsey, Joe, and their adorable 1-year-old daughter Lilliana.

The early morning sun was shining brightly, and the temperature was already climbing to a perfect 80 degrees. As we made our way through the busy streets, basking in the warm glow of the sun, we captured some truly unforgettable moments.

We started our journey on Main Street in Winter Garden, Florida with the charming storefronts and bustling energy of the city providing a perfect backdrop for our photos. Lilliana’s big brown eyes were filled with wonder and curiosity as we strolled along, with her parents pushing her in her stroller; keeping her entertained with Gabby’s Dollhouse on the tablet as we weaved through all the bikers.

As we made our way down a side street, we came across an old set of abandoned train tracks. The rusted metal gleamed in the morning sun, providing a unique and rustic setting for our photos. Lilliana was fascinated by the white rocks, eagerly handing them to me behind the camera with her tiny hands.

We snapped some beautiful shots of the family against the backdrop of the tracks, beautiful greenery, with Lilliana swaying in mom and dad’s arms wearing her biggest smile. The warm sun and gentle breeze added to the peaceful and serene atmosphere, and I knew we were capturing some truly special moments.

Next, we made our way over to a quaint German bakery. The scent of freshly baked bread and sweet pastries filled the air, giving us a good place to cool off from the morning humidity. The bakery was delightful. The sun-kissed locals and tourists glanced over at the family, turning their attention to a memory in the making; a candid moment. Enjoying the moment of pure love, just like I was behind the lens.

As we continued our journey through the farmers market, we were greeted with an array of sights, sounds, and smells. We laid our eyes on the gardening stands with vibrant and aromatic flowers. We were greeted by friendly pups, just simply happy to be out with their humans. We were in awe of the handmade crafts that filled the streets; their creators sharing their beauty with all of us. The market came to life with the warm energy of all the people chatting, laughing, and milling about.

Lilliana’s eyes grew wide with wonder at the colorful displays of fresh flowers, and we couldn’t resist snapping some beautiful shots of her gazing up at the saturated petals. Her toddlerhood got the better of her as she quickly snuck a taste of the flowers. We also captured some lovely moments of the family holding hands and strolling through the market, as the sun shined down and warmed our skin – adding to the joyful and carefree atmosphere.

As we wrapped up our session, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude and appreciation for this wonderful family. Their love and joy was infectious, and I knew that the photos we had captured would serve as cherished memories for years to come.

This morning at the Winter Garden Farmers Market in Florida with Lindsey, Joe, Lilliana, and the one-on-the-way was an unforgettable experience. What a way to welcome their newest addition. The next puzzle piece to fit right into this already incredible dynamic. One day, very soon, they will show their two littles these photos – pointing to mommy’s belly, “Look baby, you were in there the whole time. Right there with us, all along.”

This was my third opportunity to photograph the DiPonzio family, and I can’t wait for the next! I am grateful for the opportunity to capture these special moments and to be a part of their journey. Thank you for letting me be present, for your present. It’s a gift for the soul.

xoxo,
